Thinking of planning an event and gathering? Please contact us to discuss your requirements and let us create a truly unforgettable experience for you and your guests.

  • Booking: To secure your desired date and requirements, we are able to make a provisional booking for you, which will be held for a period of 14 days. In the event that another party expresses interest in the same date, we will contact you. Please note that the prices quoted are inclusive of VAT and correct at the time of printing. However, due to rising costs, we reserve the right to adjust our charges from time to time.

    Deposit: To confirm your booking, a non-refundable deposit of £200.00 per room is required, along with written confirmation of the approximate times and anticipated number of guests. Once we receive your deposit, we will confirm your booking in writing. Please be advised that failure to provide the deposit within 14 days will result in an automatic release of the room without prior notice. For Schools, Colleges, and Universities, we require a damage bond of £500.00.

    Minimum Numbers: Both of our suites have a minimum number of guests, which is to be agreed upon with the Functions Advisor at the time of booking. If the number of guests falls below the agreed minimum, we reserve the right to charge £10.00 per person for each guest short of the minimum number. If both suites are required, the minimum catering number is 200 people.

    Room Hire Charge: A room hire charge is included in the 3-course menu price (excluding Kings, Queens, and Restaurant). However, if catering from the hotel is not required, a room hire charge of £500.00 will be incurred. Additional room hire of £250.00 will be charged for daytime functions running into the evening (after 6pm) and those requiring a buffet only.

    Discussion: Two months prior to your function, our Event Co-ordinator will contact you to arrange a meeting to discuss menu requirements, numbers, and other details.

    One month prior to your function, full payment will be required alongside the final number and food requirements.

    Payment: A pro-forma invoice for the anticipated total cost will be sent to you along with the final details of the Function. Final numbers are required 4 weeks prior to your function, along with full payment. If the final number of guests on the day exceeds the number advised, we will invoice you accordingly.

    Damage: Please be aware that the person booking the function is responsible for the behaviour of all guests and any theft, vandalism, or damage will be charged to the organiser. Use of cello tape, blu-tack, white-tac, etc to stick anything to wallpaper is strictly not permitted.

    Cancellation & Rescheduling: In the event of cancellation of your function, the deposit paid will be retained and cancellation charges will apply as follows:

    Cancellation with 12 months' notice: An administration charge of £75.00 will be deducted from the deposit.

    6 months' notice: 25% of the contract price will be charged.

    3 months' notice: 50% of the contract price will be charged.

    1 month's notice: 75% of the contract price will be charged.

    Less than 1 month's notice: The full contract price will be charged.

    If you wish to postpone your function, 6 months notice is required. The hotel will only postpone an event date once, any other requests to postpone will be handled as a cancellation.

    Written confirmation of your wish to cancel/reschedule your function is required.
