Pet Policy
At Cave Castle Hotel, we welcome well-behaved pets in selected accommodation. To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, please read the following policy carefully.
This policy should be read alongside our Booking Policy and Hotel Terms & Conditions.
1. Pet-Friendly Accommodation
Pets are only permitted in designated pet-friendly rooms, which are limited in number.
These rooms are located on the ground floor and must be requested and confirmed at the time of booking.
If a guest arrives with a pet without prior notification and a suitable pet-friendly room is not available, the hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation. In such cases, any payments made will be non-refundable.
2. Pet Charges
A charge of £25 per pet, per night applies.
Guide dogs and recognised assistance dogs are accepted free of charge.
3. Pet Behaviour & Supervision
Pets must be supervised at all times and must not be left unattended in guest rooms.
Pets must be kept on a lead or in a carrier when in outdoor public areas of the hotel grounds.
Owners are fully responsible for their pet’s behaviour at all times.
4. Public Areas
Pets are not permitted in the restaurant, spa, health club, or function rooms.
Only registered assistance animals are permitted in these areas.
5. Cleanliness & Damage
Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Waste disposal facilities are available on site.
Any damage, soiling, or additional cleaning required as a result of a pet’s stay will be charged to the guest’s account.
6. Health & Welfare
All pets must be kept up to date with vaccinations and be free from fleas and ticks.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse entry or remove pets that present a health or safety risk.
7. Agreement at Check-in
Guests will be required to confirm acceptance of this policy on arrival.
